Digital learning, videos and virtual reality in the university environment:
challenges - risks - opportunities

Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes, University of Applied Science (UAS), Saarbrücken, Germany is pleased to announce its 1st ERASMUS+ Staff Training Week, which will take place from 27 November to 1 December 2017 in Saarbrücken, Germany. The five-day program consists of plenary sessions, workshops, presentations and social events.

How can digital learning, videos, virtual realities, etc. be of use and implemented into the university environment? These are some of the questions we want to tackle with you and your international colleagues during the workshops, discussions and presentations. here are so many exciting ways of teaching and learning across all disciplines and higher education institutions (HEI). Let’s try to explore some of them together during the ERASMUS+ Staff training week in Saarbrücken.

Target group and participants

The program is designed both for international academics dedicated to innovation in the classroom and for staff dealing with the technical implementation of new technologies into the everyday operation of HEI.

Registered so far are participants from our partner universities in Belgium, Finnland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Poland and the UK.

Costs and funding

There is no participation fee. Participants are encouraged to cover their own travel and living expenses through the ERASMUS+ STT mobility program of their home institution.
