ERASMUS+ Staff Training Week 2019
Let's Care About Us: Creating an Environment for the Perfect Work-Study-Life Fit

Future Challenges

Digitalization, virtual realities, modern workspaces, continuous learning – our universities face many challenges in the future. Thus, new hardware, innovative software, IT-infrastructure and processes are becoming core elements in strategies to develop and keep up with other universities and competitors.

Putting Ideas Into Practice

However, all these challenges can only be tackled if our universities can rely on motivated, open-minded people who are willing to put these ambitious projects into practice.

So - how do we keep motivation high? How do we keep employees healthy and satisfied? What do universities have to do to be competitive, attractive employers? These are some of the questions we want to discuss during our staff training week in November.

We invite you to share your experiences and visions with us about creating a healthy, inspiring and open-minded workplace that is equipped to cope with future challenges.

Let's spend the week exploring topics such as:

  • Architecture and ideal learning and working environments
  • Learning and development / life-long learning
  • Well-being
  • Life milestones
  • Family care issues
  • Work-life initiatives
  • Sustainability

and getting to know each other, spending time at the lovely Saarbrücken Christmas market and enjoying other social activities.
