Improve your German as an international students while studying at htw saar

Whether you are at htw saar as an exchange student and only here for one semester, or if you are a degree-seeking student and here for a longer period of time, improving your German is always a good idea. htw saar offers enrolled international students a wide range of study-related German language courses free of charge. Students from other universities and guest students may also apply for admission (subject to availability, fees may apply).

The German language courses cover the following topics:

  • German for Exchange Students (different levels)
  • General German language course including vocabulary, speaking, listening and reading comprehension
  • German in the workplace
    Everyday situations at the workplace are practiced, vocabulary is expanded and linguistic expression is improved.
  • Scientific writing and presentation
    Topics are based on the needs and wishes of the students.
  • German for Engineers (winter semester only)
