Come to htw saar and join the IPS in Saarbrücken! The IPS is an English-language program for international and local bachelor students in engineering sciences, which is organized by the School of Engineering in cooperation with selected companies from the Saar region (ZF Friedrichshafen AG; VILLEROY&BOCH; HYDAC; HAGER GROUP; DÜRR Assembly Products).
You will have a unique opportunity to work on an actual engineering project in the industrial sector (e.g. in robotics, materials science, or product development), in multicultural, interdisciplinary teams, and you will attend courses at htw saar.
During the IPS-semester, you will have
- project work in the industrial sector (15 ECTS)
- 2 courses on electives from the School of Engineering, accompanied by project management (together 5 ECTS)
- courses in project management/team building (5 ECTS),
- courses in intercultural communication and German language (5 ECTS).
IPS at htw saar in short:
- Start: March 22, 2021
- End: July 31, 2021
- +++NEW+++ application deadline: January 31, 2021
- 30 ECTS credits
- Compatible with ERASMUS+ grant
Entry requirements:
- Minimum of 120 ECTS in an engineering study program
- English proficiency required at least B2-level (No German skills required)
