The Saarland University of Applied Sciences (htw saar) has once again been ranked among the best universities of applied sciences for auditing in Germany: It holds the 9th spot in the latest ranking by *manager magazin*. This marks the third time htw saar has made the top 10, following its appearances in 2022 and 2024.
The ranking was compiled in collaboration with the Scientific Society for Management and Consulting (WGMB). In addition to the “industry champions” and the best “auditors for small and medium-sized businesses,” the study also examined the top-performing universities in this field.
To evaluate the universities, approximately 80 auditing firms and around 1,700 clients were surveyed. They indicated which universities they consider to be the best, second-best, and third-best training institutions in the field of auditing.
At htw saar, the subject is firmly anchored in the curriculum: Students in both the Bachelor’s program in Business Administration and the Master’s program in Accounting, Auditing, and Finance are specifically prepared for a career in auditing.
