On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the LONG NIGHT OF INDUSTRY in Saarland will offer exciting insights into the working world of regional industrial companies. Students can experience production processes up close, learn about innovative technologies, and network with potential employers.
Fifteen companies from the region will open their doors to showcase just how diverse and forward-looking the industrial sector in the Saarland is. In addition to guided tours of the production facilities, participants will gain insights into current developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, new materials, and automation technology.
Career prospects are also a key focus: Through direct conversations with HR representatives, students can learn about entry-level opportunities, internships, and career paths.
The event is particularly aimed at students of engineering, computer science, and economics, as well as young women interested in a career in industry.
Participating companies include Diehl Defence, Festo, Fresenius Medical Care, Hager Group, Hydac, Schaeffler, and ThyssenKrupp, among others.
