Science in the spotlight: The UniGR Science Slam of the Greater Region
Experience science on stage: At the UniGR Science Slam, scientists present their research from a wide range of disciplines - in an entertaining, understandable and engaging way. The audience decides who takes home the UniGR Science Slam title at the end, because you are the jury that gets to decide between the contributions of outstanding researchers from the entire Greater Region.
The University of the Greater Region, UniGR for short, is an alliance of seven universities in four countries: Université de Lorraine, University of Luxembourg, University of Liège, RPTU Kaiserlautern-Landau, University of Trier, Saarland University and Saarland University of Applied Sciences.
Come to the Theater im Viertel in Saarbrücken on October 26 at 5 p.m. and be inspired by science from the Greater Region!
The UniGR Science Slam is the culmination of the first two years of the UniGR Visiting Professorship - a scholarship that enables researchers to spend time at one of the seven UniGR universities across borders. The residencies create space for new impulses, collaborations and a change of perspective. At the UniGR Science Slam, the participating scientists are now bringing their new research ideas to the stage.
The UniGR guest professorship is made possible by the support of the Marienburg Foundation.
Free participation, but limited places! Further information on registration will follow at: www.uni-gr.eu
