The counseling center offers all students and employees at the Saarland University, HBK and htw saar the opportunity to get quick, uncomplicated help. Counseling is free of charge and kept strictly confidential.

The center offers psychological counselling for personal problems or problems with your studies, for example:

• Avoiding or procrastinating on important projects
• Fear of exams and tests
• Learning and concentration disorders
• Writer’s block
• Dissatisfaction with the personal and/or the study situation
• Low or fluctuating self-esteem
• Depression
• Lack of orientation or motivation
• Relationship problems
• Other fears
• Sexual and psychosomatic disorders
• Partnership and family conflicts, etc.

The counseling center offers workshops on study-specific topics, as well as one-on-one meetings.
