Prof. Dr. Thomas Bousonville
Prof. Dr. Thomas Bousonville has been a faculty member at the Saarland University of Applied Sciences (htw saar) since 2006, specializing in logistics and supply chain management. His research focuses on digitalization and sustainability within the transportation sector. He's a member of the Future Transportation Society and serves as a co-founder and mentor for a htw saar spin-off initiative.
Beyond his academic roles, Prof. Bousonville has taken on various roles in institutional governance and study program development at the htw saar. From 2012 to 2021, he held the position of Director of the Franco-German Institute for Technology and Business (DFHI), facilitating the offering of 12 joint degrees in collaboration with the Université de Lorraine. Throughout this time, he also served on the extended Executive Board.
Prof. Bousonville's influence extends beyond the borders of Germany, with engagements in France, Poland, Finland, and the USA where he participated in academic advisory boards and delivered guest lectureships.
