General Semester Structure

Every semester is about 18 weeks long and is divided into three parts (phases):

• Project work at one company from the Saar region (20 ECTS)
• Special designed EPS.TEC modules (each 2,5 ECTS):
  • Introduction to Arduino
  • electives: Embedded Systems and Simulink OR  Sensor Systems
• Project Management (2 ECTS)
• Intercultural Communication (0,5 ECTS)
• German Course including the intensive German Course (2,5 ECTS) for incomings / for local htw students Technical Case Study (2,5 ECTS)

Total: 30 ECTS

The Technical Case Study is only for htw saar students. It replaces the German Course that incomings must attend.
