In our teaching mission statement, we have committed ourselves to seven key areas:
We empower our students to act sustainably and take on responsibility in society. We resolve conflicts arising from differing approaches and goals through open, respectful, and constructive dialogue.
Through a practice-oriented curriculum, we prepare our students to become specialists and leaders with diverse career advancement opportunities. This includes the personal development of our students and their ability to work across disciplines.
We employ up-to-date teaching methods appropriate to the academic discipline and promote digital competencies. The reflective application of artificial intelligence as a key technology is integrated into the curriculum in a manner tailored to each discipline and supports the teaching and learning process.
We develop and organize the program in accordance with students’ needs. Flexibility in terms of time, location, and content is of high importance to us. In return, we expect commitment to one’s own academic goals.
We contribute to the positive development of the region by carrying out projects with companies and institutions and integrating entrepreneurship into our teaching. We promote the transfer of social and technical innovations as well as lifelong learning.
We impart the skills needed to operate successfully in an international and multicultural work environment and to shape it. Due to our location on the border with France and Luxembourg, we offer qualifications for Francophone countries in addition to English-language programs.
We promote diversity and equal opportunity and offer high-quality academic programs. Students are supported regardless of their financial resources or social background.
