Declaration of consent

I have been informed that photos will be taken of me during the International Week at the Saarland University of Applied Sciences (hereinafter: htw saar).

These will be used later for media coverage in digital and printed media (e.g. htw saar website, brochures, videos, etc.). 

I hereby declare:

1. I agree to having my photo taken.
2. I hereby transfer all rights to my own image to the htw saar. I consent to the processing, duplication, distribution, use and archiving of the images using digital media and other data carriers for the above-mentioned purposes.
3. My consent is granted for an unlimited period of time.
4. I am aware that I will not receive any remuneration for the aforementioned publication of my image.
5. I am aware that the photos may be included in information or image brochures. These may also be distributed on the Internet. Under certain circumstances, the material may be disseminated via third-party websites (e.g. YouTube) if they are in turn committed to the above-mentioned purposes.
6. The htw saar accepts no liability for third parties using the above-mentioned materials for other purposes without the knowledge of the htw saar, including, but not limited to, downloading and/or copying the photographs/images or otherwise reproducing them.
7. Consent can only be revoked for good cause.
8. If any clause of this declaration is invalid or void, or becomes invalid or void, the remainder of the declaration remains valid. The invalid or void clause will be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the content of the invalid or void provision.
