Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of its use
a) When visiting the website
For the purpose of data security, your access to our website ( www.htwsaar.de) temporarily stores data that may allow identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and pages accessed). An evaluation, except for statistical purposes in anonymized form, does not take place.

The database is used to contact and maintain contact with companies and institutions regarding cooperation opportunities with htw saar and FITT gGmbH.

These are supplemented by expressions of interest in our fields of cooperation and the contact and cooperation history.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR
- e) in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format(right to data portability) or to request that it be transferred to another controller. The right is limited to data that is not subject to another right and therefore may not be transferred to other bodies or that affect the rights of third parties.

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.
