Climate change, pandemics, e-mobility and digitalization: the public dialogue about science and research is constantly reaching new records. The fact that the public has a high level of interest in science and research is also confirmed by the Science Barometer, which has been recording people's attitudes towards science and research since 2014. In 2021, 57% stated that they were very interested in scientific topics. In 2019, 57% of Germans demanded to be involved in discussions when it comes to research fields. 52% would like to look over the shoulders of researchers. There could not be a better argument for our science communication.
Take a look over the shoulders of htw saar researchers and find out more about current research topics in the special supplement of the Saarbrücken newspaper "sichtbar EXTRA", the research magazine "sichtbar" and in the university's anniversary issues and commemorative publications. The sichtbar EXTRA special supplement is published in early summer, the magazine in the fall of each year.
