Direct Enrollment Process
You can enroll in the first semester of a Bachelor’s program with open admission without first submitting an application, provided you meet the formal requirements.
Direct enrollment takes place online via the SIM application portal of htw saar:
Register* or log in** to the SIM application portal* or SIM student portal**
Select the "Bachelor's Programs Without Admission Requirements (Direct Enrollment)" tile
Complete the application, including all sections (see the menu at the top left of the application)
Upload any required documents in the designated section
Click "Submit Application" (button at the bottom right of the application)
FAQ
Direct enrollment at htw saar is only possible during the winter semester. The application deadline is September 30.
You may submit only one application for direct admission to a bachelor's program with no admission restrictions.
With direct enrollment, you will not receive an admission letter, as you are enrolling directly in the desired program, which does not require an admission decision.
The SIM Portal displays the current processing status and any necessary steps on the respective application tile. We will also keep you updated via email.
