The internationalization of htw saar is an important component of the university strategy. As a supporting measure, further education and training measures for employees from the faculties and administration at the (European) partner universities abroad are possible, so-called STT (staff) measures.
Thetarget group is htw saar staff from the faculties and administration, such as student advisory services, public relations, finance, academic staff or LfbA's (whereby the latter also have the opportunity to use the STA program ). Unfortunately, employees of FITT gGmbH cannot participate in this program.
The one-week stay abroad has several objectives:
A detailed work program is agreed with the host institution for each mobility, for example as part of a job shadowing or work shadowing.
When selecting the host institution, it is important to consider which one is suitable for the planned project and the aim of the stay. This can mean the greatest possible similarity in size and type of university, but also an insight into completely different processes, methods and structures. When visiting ERASMUS+ partner universities of the htw saar, where student and lecturer mobility is already established, the participants should also contribute to deepening the cooperation (e.g. meeting students from their own university on site, being a contact person for interested incoming students).
The amount of the flat-rate ERASMUS+ STT funding depends on the respective destination country and generally covers the travel and accommodation costs incurred. We will inform you of the exact funding rate before the trip.
After completion of the mobility measure, it is mandatory to prepare a report on the activity within the framework of the staff mobility as well as a confirmation from the host institution. The participants evaluate the experience gained and bring it back to their own department or work area. In addition, the participants report on their experiences in the form of a short presentation at the staff meeting, a report in the htw saar newsletter or similar.
