We place a strong emphasis on practical experience. In the Logistics Cluster, there are numerous opportunities for collaboration between the university and businesses.
To give our students insights into the professional world as early as possible, we organize numerous company tours and field trips, as well as practical lectures by company representatives.
Our bachelor’s students complete a mandatory internship at the end of their studies, but our master’s students also welcome internship opportunities. During their studies, our students often work part-time at companies to gain experience alongside their coursework.
In their final semester, our students write their thesis.
In both the bachelor’s and master’s programs, corporate or academic projects are an integral part of the curriculum. As part of these projects, students develop a solution to a problem posed by a industry partner.
Joint research projects are also an option; funding may be available from the university, the federal government, or the EU, as applicable.
