Why do I need to submit a German language certificate?
We would like to integrate students from abroad into German social life during his/her studies. Students should be able to commucicate with the adminstrative organisations in Germany.

If the eligibility requirements are not met by the application deadline, the application will not participate in the normal selection process. If the prerequisites are met later, applicants can only be admitted if there are still study places available.

Applicants with foreign educational certificates must first apply via uni-assist for a preliminary check of their certificates. To the uni assist online application.
Tips for foreign applicants
International applicants must first apply online via uni-assist to receive the necessary VPD (preliminary review documentation). This can be done at any time of the year. It takes at least six weeks to receive your VPD from uni-assist. So in order to meet the university application deadlines, you will need to apply for your VPD as early as possible.
