Thursday, December 3, 2026, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., VR-Arena CAS 3405
In group work, projects, or everyday college life, things don’t always go smoothly: agreements aren’t kept, tasks are left undone, criticism is poorly received, or the other person reacts differently than expected.
In the VR-Arena, you can practice such conversation scenarios—with a virtual counterpart who reacts to what you say, asks follow-up questions, disagrees, or is even uncooperative at times.
The goal isn’t to find the “perfect” answer. Rather, you can test how you can remain clear, respectful, and capable of taking action even in difficult situations.
Among other things, you can practice:
Possible situations include, for example, a difficult group project, unfulfilled agreements, or a conversation in which differing expectations clash.
You don’t need any VR experience, and you don’t have to bring your own conflict situation to the workshop. The training uses prepared scenarios—in a safe environment and without real-world consequences.

Wednesday, December 9, 2026, 2:30–4:30 p.m., CAS Room NN
Between lectures, deadlines, free time, part-time jobs, friendships, and personal plans, everyday life can sometimes get pretty hectic. But how do others actually organize their daily lives—and what helps them stay on top of things and stay motivated?
In this interactive seminar, we’ll explore motivation, habits, social comparisons, and personal expectations through short discussions.
Above all, though, it’s about conversation:
Through rotating discussion groups, there’s plenty of room for personal experiences, different perspectives, and making new connections. In short: a bit of expert input, lots of conversation, and the chance to get to know other students outside the context of your major and semester.

Friday, December 11, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., via MS Teams
Prerequisite: Proficiency in Excel functions (comparable to Excel 2 in StudiumPlus)
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to present data and key metrics using so-called “visuals.” These can include charts, area cartograms, matrix tables (similar to pivot tables), speedometers, and more. Key aspects here include filtering data, using data slices, cross-filters, and drill-down functions. All of this is organized into a Power BI report—which can span multiple pages—and published, for example, in Teams or via a sharing link.
