The Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes | University of Applied Sciences is pleased to invite you to its Virtual Staff Training Days, held on December 1st – 2nd 2020, and it is designed for administrative and academic staff responsible for the international agenda. The Staff Days were originally foreseen to be face-to-face in Saarbrücken but, given the COVID-19 situation, the program has been switched to a fully online event.
This year’s Staff Training Days are dedicated to cooperation between universities and companies; we will discuss opportunities and challenges related to cooperation, share experiences and best practices. The purpose of our first Virtual Staff Training Days is to promote the idea of internationalization (@ home) and strengthen our international partnership through virtual meetings and presentations. The event represents a unique opportunity to learn, benchmark, and network with colleagues worldwide. It is aimed at supporting institutions in making the most out of cooperation between universities and companies.
Expected Speakers:
- 1 December (10:00-12:30 CET) | htw saar at its best and guests - with contributions by international speaker Andrew Quinn (GCU – Glasgow Caledonian University); by Prof. Dr. Martin Löffler-Mang (htw saar – School of Engineering), Jonas Vogt (htw saar – School of Engineering), Prof. Dr. Frank Kneip (htw saar – Business School);
- 2 December (10:00-12:30 CET) | htw saar and its partners/guests - with contributions by Dr. Thomas Tentrup (Director of Development – Dürr Assembly Products GmbH) and by international speaker Dr. Alexandra Trincão (ISEP – Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Portugal); Prof. Dr. Peter Böttcher (htw saar – School of Architecture and Civil Engineering), Prof. Dr. Stefanie Jensen (htw saar – Business School).
Who can participate: Administrative and academic staff members from Higher Education Institutions across the globe, especially from our partner universities.
