Simulation game environment
The simulation game is a teaching method in which learners have the opportunity to work on realistic problems and reflect on the results. They are guided by the game leaders and receive valuable information on methods and tools in knowledge blocks. The aim is for students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice within the framework of the simulation game and achieve realistic results, both good and bad, so that they experience the advantages and limitations of methods and procedures.
In addition to subject-specific skills, business games are also suitable for practicing and testing management methods. How do I lead a team? How do I motivate my employees in production to be more productive? What is this lean management that everyone in industry is talking about? How does SixSigma really work? Is Kanban just a card or is there more to it? All these questions can and should be answered and experienced using simulation games in the model factory. At the moment, there are supplementary business games on the topics of Lean Management and Six Sigma. However, independent workshops on the topics of process analysis and optimization, Kanban or team building also help to increase the acceptance and understanding of the methods and tools among the participants. The existing management games are continuously developed further and new management games are added.
